Leader in Inventory Management
The Hudson's Bay, Coquitlam
2014 & 2015

Due to increasing costs of hiring external inventory management companies,  the company I worked for decided to use our existing staff and train them to do the job for the first time in 2014.  I was entrusted with the responsibility both in 2014 and 2015 to lead, manage and train an upwards of 40-50 people to achieve the accurate inventory count of a two-story 215,000 sq. foot retail store.

I lead numerous training sessions prior to the actual week of inventory as well as assisted in crafting an overall strategy for the nights the work was to be completed.  On the numerous evenings where inventory took place,  I managed up to 50 people each night and delegated jobs on a real time basis to maintain the utmost efficiency all while operating the central control system.  I am very proud to say that both 2014 and 2015 inventory counts were a complete success.

Sales Lead & Event Planner

Summer 2014

During the summer of 2014 I was given the responsibility to meet a department wide sales target by creating an event to celebrate the release of our patio furniture.  I crafted a strategy that provided our customers a prize incentive for them to be more inclined to purchase their patio furniture that weekend as well as organized catering, drinks, music and much more.  After the two day event was complete I had lead our team to achieve an impressive 110% over our target plan in sales.
